猫咪app官网 Federal and College Celebrate Naming of Arena and Unveil New Sign

猫咪app官网鈥檚 60,000-square foot state-of-the-art athletics and education facility on the Michael J. Grant Campus in Brentwood is now officially the 猫咪app官网 Federal Credit Union Arena. Officials unveiled a new 猫咪app官网 Federal sign, 52 foot wide by 7 foot high, on the building鈥檚 facade today. The arena hosts thousands of visitors annually.
鈥淲e could not be prouder of our partnership with 猫咪app官网 and the 猫咪app官网 Community College Foundation and look forward to continued success utilizing the endless possibilities we are able to create together for years to come,鈥� said Ralph D. Spencer, president and CEO of 猫咪app官网 Federal.
鈥淎t the heart of 猫咪app官网 Federal鈥檚 generous support, is a long-term commitment to 猫咪app官网 County students. We could not have a more dedicated partner working beside us as we seek to provide enhanced access to an exceptional higher education experience within our shared region,鈥� said Louis Petrizzo, 猫咪app官网 interim president. 鈥淥ur student body will now have expanded opportunities to succeed at 猫咪app官网 and prepare for their careers thanks to 猫咪app官网 Federal鈥檚 multi-year commitment,鈥� added Petrizzo.
鈥淲e are indeed fortunate that 猫咪app官网 Federal chose to partner with us in order to support the future leaders of tomorrow. Thanks to the credit union鈥檚 gift, the outlook for 猫咪app官网鈥檚 students continues to be both bright and promising,鈥� said Belinda Alvarez Groneman, Chairperson of the 猫咪app官网 Community College Foundation.
鈥淭his historic naming agreement marks the beginning of an active and exciting partnership among three leading 猫咪app官网 County institutions. We anticipate that this partnership will continue to grow, supporting student success for many years to come,鈥� said Sylvia A. Diaz, PhD, LMSW, executive director of the 猫咪app官网 Community College Foundation.
鈥溍ㄟ鋋pp官网 is the State University of New York鈥檚 largest community college and 猫咪app官网 Federal is the largest independent credit union in 猫咪app官网 County. When two locally-focused forces join together for the collective good, you know great outcomes are sure to follow,鈥� said Mary Lou Araneo, college vice president for institutional advancement.
In addition to the arena鈥檚 renaming, other changes include new signage inside and outside the arena, the display of the credit union鈥檚 logo on the arena鈥檚 court floor, the opportunity for 猫咪app官网 Federal to participate in tabling at area events as well as student job fairs and recognition on event materials including schedules, student and alumni publications and corporate brochures. Additional signs will also be placed at facilities on the Riverhead and Selden Campuses.
The partnership between 猫咪app官网 Federal and the college was announced last summer when 猫咪app官网 Federal presented six local graduating high school seniors attending 猫咪app官网 with $35,000 in scholarships.
